Meet Anjal
Anjal Pong, DNP, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, NPD-BC, CNOR has been both a nurse and hula practitioner for over 20 years. Her clinical background is in the operating room, and she has had experience as a nursing professional development specialist and nursing program director. She recently completed training as a Caritas Coach® through the Watson Caring Science Institute.
Anjal is passionate about supporting and advocating for nurses at all levels and all areas of practice. She loves to mentor and professionally develop others in nursing or those looking to join the nursing profession. Anjal has always been able to integrate innovation and creativity in her nursing career through instructional design and unique teaching methodologies. Anjal is a 28 year member of Hālau o Keikiali'i, a traditional hula school under the direction of Kumu Hula Kawika Alfiche. As a hula person she was able to maintain personal and professional balance, meaning and inspiration. Founding this company was built on her dream of combining her passion for both nursing and hula; creating a bridge to benefit all.

Wendy brings near 20 years of healthcare experience and a passion for purposeful systems design to Healing Traditions. As a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Lean champion, she is a strategic program leader known for driving initiatives that elevate nursing education, professional development, and clinical excellence.
Wendy's expertise lies in strategic planning, program evaluation, and leading cross-functional initiatives that turn vision into measurable impact. Wendy integrates data analysis, educational technology, and coaching to foster high-performing, mission-driven teams that thrive in complex healthcare environments. Beyond her professional role, Wendy finds joy in music—playing both the ukulele and bass guitar as a way to stay grounded, creative, and connected. Co-founding Healing Traditions reflects her belief that well-being is nourished not only through innovation and leadership, but also through culture, artistry, and personal expression.
